And nice little feature especially handy for the people with a premium and a free account.

You’ve probably disabled promotions in your premium account but then when you switch back again to your free account they pop up again. And when you switch back again to your premium account you have to disable it again. Now it will disable promotions by default. Making sure your promotions will be hidden. But off course with your free account they are likely to pop up again after a while!
If you don’t want to see promotions at all just make sure all your accounts are premium!

Download it here!

Reviewed by Mac Review Cast

Not one, not two but three applications of mine were reviewed in the Mac Review Cast! There were many, many responses and I’ve tried my best to answer all off them as best as I could. So obviously many people wanted folders for their projects. Glad you like it!

I’ve been working on getting the first release more stable. That’s why the release of today is 0.9.6.2 and not 0.9.7. Some important bug fixes are in there. Especially for users who have there Things database in dropbox (and there are some!) this release should let you use Things Folders as well.

There is now also a special Release Notes page for Things Folders and a Status page. So you can see what is going on here. Now I want documents on my computer to be in a simple but good structure that I’m familiar with.
But then I thought I all ready have a structure in my email and todo’s and most of the documents I make or receive could fit in one of my projects or areas. An idea was born and some time later Things Folders was born.
I hope you like it.

Also today the release of Evernote Account Switcher 2.0.
Besides many bug fixes also a couple of new features like naming and auto login. Also the code has been drastically improved. Many thanks to Peter for helping me bug fix this application.
And again I hope you like it!

And for those people waiting for an update on Push. I have been working on it again but can’t say when there will be an update. I’m doing a complete rewrite so it might take a while. The good news is that I’m trying to add many new features! It will be nice.

Cheers!

Jasper

Evernote Account Switcher

Today the launch of a small application that I developed mainly for myself: the Evernote Account Switcher.
I use Evernote on a daily basis for my personal account. It was the bug that you couldn't use a apostrophe. The Push Server would give an error every time.

I've been also working on good documentation. I realize that good documentation is vital for a project as this. So hopefully you find it helpful. If not please ask you questions, report your bugs or anything else in the comment section or use the Contact page.

You only got this week to contact me though because on friday I'm going on a well deserved vacation! If you want to know more about Push just check out this website.

It's always interesting to see how something grows.
What started as a simple idea became a shell script and from there it has grown to an application. There has been many adjustments and many features were added along the way. And now it is ready to do it's first steps in the great wide world.

It's exciting for me because I never thought it would actually come to this.
But most of all because other people get to use it. And I hope they like it!

So please check it out, download and use it and let me know what you think.

Cheers!

Jasper

BTW: I still need some real good icons for Push. And this week I thought why not? I’m not doing anything usefull with this place on the web anyway.
So here it is then.. I hope you like it. ;)

I’m starting off with cvcpSync and another script called Organised.
With cvcpSync you can do really fast syncs between Xsan or StorNext volumes.
With Organised you can easily organise your desktop and download folder.

Look at the software page for the scripts. There are more to come in the future...
